Our story
Founded in 2018 in Shoreditch, Pulse Studio began as a small team of designers frustrated by agencies that prioritized volume over quality. We set out to build something different — a studio where every project receives senior attention and every deliverable is held to the highest standard.
Today we partner with organizations across finance, technology, healthcare, retail, and social impact. Our clients range from venture-backed startups to established enterprises, united by ambition and a respect for the creative process.
We believe the best work emerges from honest collaboration — challenging assumptions, asking hard questions, and refusing to settle for work that merely looks good without performing.

2018
Founded in Shoreditch
Alex Chen and Maya Okonkwo launch Pulse Studio with a focus on brand identity and digital experience for technology clients.
2020
Expanded capabilities
We grow the team to include dedicated strategy, product design, and motion disciplines — enabling end-to-end engagements for the first time.
2023
Remote-first transition
Pulse Studio adopts a remote-first model with quarterly in-person studio weeks, expanding our talent pool across the UK and Europe.
2025
Present day
120+ projects delivered, 14 industry awards, and a team of six senior practitioners serving clients on three continents.
